Down below you can read about our salon policies, which are in place both to protect you as a client and me as a salon owner.

Cancellation Policy

At The Modern Manicure Co. I understand that sometimes unexpected circumstances arise, and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please provide me with ample notice to accommodate other clients waiting for an appointment slot. Please review our cancellation policy below:

1. Appointment Deposit:When booking an appointment a 50% deposit is required of your total appointment cost. This will be taken off of your bill when you attend your appointment. If you cancel/reschedule your appointment within 24 hours, this deposit is non-refundable.

2. Cancellation Notice: At least 24 hours' notice is required for all cancellations or rescheduling requests. This allows us the opportunity to offer the appointment slot to another clients.

3. Late Cancellations / No-Shows: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, or failure to show up for the appointment without prior notice, will result in a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the appointment fee.

A maximum 10-minute lateness is allowed, any lateness greater than that will result in a cancellation of the appointment, or if possible alter the appointment to fit in the original time frame.

4. Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule appointments without incurring a cancellation fee if the request is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, and the new appointment is within a reasonable time frame. If the client wishes to reschedule within 24hrs, they will lose their 50% deposit for the service.

5. Emergency Situations: I understand that emergencies happen. If you have a sudden emergency and cannot make your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss your situation.

6. Repeat Offences: Clients who habitually cancel appointments without adequate notice or fail to show up for scheduled appointments may be required to prepay the full amount for future services or may risk being unable to schedule appointments in the future.

7. Appointment Confirmation: I may reach out to confirm your appointment via phone call, email, or text message. It is your responsibility to confirm or reschedule your appointment if needed.

8. House rule: Currently I am working from home with pets. Our pets are part of the family, and they are moving freely within the house. I kindly ask everyone to consider this when booking.
